Broadway Kidz

The Program...
This program will focus on a different aspect of theatre in each of the available sessions. Responding to
requests from families for flexibility, this summer's Broadway Kidz activities will be offered in three
independent sessions (two 1-week sessions and one 2-week session). Students may enroll in as many or as
few of the sessions as desired, creating a schedule of summer activities that is arranged around their family's
summer vacation activities. At the beginning of each session, a specialist in an area of the performing arts will
present a workshop for the students. The remainder of the session will be devoted to building on the skills
taught to the students during the workshop. The themes for each session are listed below; all will certainly
provide excitement for the students and lead them toward the actor's goal of becoming a "Triple Threat"
(proficiency in acting, music, and dance). Each session will end with a free Friday afternoon demonstration for
family and friends highlighting students' new skills.
